License & CE expiry desk · For Texas real-estate brokerages

Every sponsored agent’s renewal, watched and chased for you.

RosterCurrent reconciles your roster against public TREC records and chases every sponsored agent’s renewal and CE at 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before each deadline.

Free for rosters up to 25 agents · Report within 5 business days · No card required · No sales call

TREC notifies the individual agent about 90 days before a renewal. No roster-level warning goes to the broker — yet the broker answers for the roster. That gap is the whole job of this desk.

The rules we work to

18 hours

of CE in every two-year renewal cycle — Legal Update I & II, 3 hours contract-related, 7 hours elective.

98 hours

of SAE owed at a first renewal — and SAE cannot be deferred, so a first-renewal agent has no grace window.

6 hours

Broker Responsibility course owed at renewal by sponsoring brokers and delegated supervisors — mandatory since January 1, 2026.

Day one

after a missed deadline, the license is inactive and the agent cannot legally work — a $200 CE deferral buys only 60 days.

Renewal and CE requirements per Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) rules, October 2026.

RosterCurrent is a new service, and this page will not pretend otherwise. There are no customer results to show yet, so there are none here — no testimonials, no counts, no logos. What stands in their place: the TREC rules above, the process on this page, and a written guarantee that covers the process itself.

The problem

Every agent renews on a different clock. Nobody hands the broker the list.

Each sponsored agent’s license runs on its own two-year cycle, with its own CE tally. TREC sends its renewal notice to the license holder, about 90 days out. The broker — the person TREC holds responsible for the roster — gets no roster-level warning at all.

So the tracking lives in a spreadsheet, a calendar habit, or nowhere. It holds until the month it doesn’t: an agent misses the deadline, the license goes inactive, and it surfaces mid-transaction — with a client, a contract, and a closing date attached.

At that point the options are poor. A $200 CE deferral buys 60 days. Nothing buys back the deal that stalled, and the fallout lands on the broker’s desk either way.

The broker owns the consequences of deadlines the broker never sees. RosterCurrent exists to close exactly that gap.

  • ~90 days TREC’s renewal notice goes to the individual agent. No equivalent notice is sent to the sponsoring broker.
  • 2-year cycles Staggered across the roster — on an evenly staggered roster of 40 agents, a renewal lands roughly every 18 days, all year.
  • $200 / 60 days The CE deferral fee buys 60 days of grace after a missed deadline — not a renewal, and not the lost transaction back.
  • Inactive means inactive Past the deadline the agent cannot legally work until the license is current again.

How it works

Your part is one email. The desk does the rest.

Everything runs by email, against public records. No portal to learn, no login to hand over, no call to sit through.

  1. Send your roster list

What you do: email us your sponsored agents — names and license numbers. That list is the only thing we ever need from you. New agents get added the same way, whenever you send them.

  2. We reconcile it against TREC’s public records

What you do: nothing. We match every agent to their public license record — renewal date, CE standing, first-renewal SAE where it applies — and build the per-agent renewal calendar. Public records only: we never log into a TREC account and never hold a credential.

  3. We chase each agent at 90 / 60 / 30 / 14 / 7 days

What you do: nothing. Each agent gets an email at every mark before their deadline, naming exactly what they still owe — the hours, the course, the date. First-renewal agents hear about the 98-hour SAE early, while there is still time to finish it.

  4. You get the report — and the names that need you

What you do: read one email a month. The monthly roster report shows every agent as current, expiring within 90 days, or inactive-risk. Agents who haven’t responded come to you as a named escalation list, while there is still time to act.

The offer

A renewal desk, not another tracker you have to feed.

Brokerage software hands you a dashboard and leaves the watching to you. RosterCurrent is the watching — a desk that reconciles, chases, escalates, and reports, run for your brokerage by email.

  • Roster-vs-TREC reconciliation Your sponsored-agent list matched against public TREC license records — who is expired, who is current, whose record doesn’t line up.
  • A renewal calendar for every agent Each agent’s deadline and CE position held in one calendar, maintained by the desk — not by a spreadsheet somebody remembers to open.
  • Scheduled chasing, in writing Emails to each agent at 90 / 60 / 30 / 14 / 7 days before their deadline, stating exactly what that agent still owes.
  • Broker escalation list Non-responders and inactive-risk agents surfaced to you by name, monthly and whenever a deadline gets close — surfaced while there is still time to act.
  • Monthly roster report Every agent in one of three states — current, expiring within 90 days, inactive-risk — with the detail behind each line.

What we never do

  • Never log into a TREC account — yours or an agent’s.
  • Never ask for, hold, or store a password or credential.
  • Never pay a TREC fee on anyone’s behalf.
  • Never complete CE or file a renewal for a license holder.
  • Never give legal advice about a license, a transaction, or a deadline.

Each license holder completes their own CE and their own renewal. The desk makes sure nobody on your roster is surprised by a deadline — the renewing itself stays with the agent, where TREC puts it.

The Desk guarantee: every agent on your roster chased on the 90/60/30/14/7 schedule and reported in the monthly report — or that month is free.

Every Desk plan carries the same process guarantee: every agent on your roster chased on the 90/60/30/14/7 schedule and reported in the monthly report — or that month is free. It is a guarantee about our work, and it is the only kind we make: the desk never guarantees a renewal, a CE completion, or a compliance outcome, because those belong to the license holder. Full terms are in the section below.

In plain words

What you can hold us to

We promise a process and a paper trail — the things a desk controls. We never promise what the work will do for your brokerage, and any service that guarantees a renewal outcome is guessing with your license.

The guarantee

Every agent on your roster is chased on the 90/60/30/14/7 schedule and reported in your monthly roster report — or that month is free. If a month misses the standard, reply to any email from us and say so; the month is credited, no form and no call. The guarantee covers the chasing and the reporting. It does not cover whether an agent acts on the reminders — that part is theirs.

The limits, stated plainly

Each license holder completes their own CE and files their own renewal. We never log into TREC accounts, never hold credentials, never pay TREC fees, and never give legal advice. Our record-keeping works from public TREC records and the roster list you send; if a public record is wrong, we report what it shows and flag the mismatch for the license holder to correct with TREC.

Payment

The price on the plan is the total at checkout; nothing is added after. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Desk plans bill monthly. The Clean-Up Sprint is a single one-time payment, and the $375 Desk credit is applied automatically when a Desk plan starts within 14 days of Sprint delivery.

Cancelling

Desk plans are month-to-month. Reply to any email from us and say you want to cancel — the plan ends at the close of the current month, there are no further charges, and there is no cancellation call, exit form, or retention pitch.

Questions

Asked, answered

How does the free Roster License Scan work?

Email us from the button on this page and send your sponsored-agent list — names and license numbers. We reconcile it against public TREC license records only and send back a report within 5 business days: who is already expired, who expires within 90 days, and who shows a CE gap against their renewal.

The Scan is a one-time picture of your roster. It includes no chasing — the chasing is what the Desk plans do every month.

What do you need from us to run the desk?

Your roster list — agent names and license numbers — and an email address for each agent we should chase. That is the whole list. We never need a TREC login, a password, or access to any of your systems, and we will never ask for one.

When you sponsor a new agent, forward their name and license number the same way and they join the calendar.

What happens when an agent doesn’t respond?

The chasing continues on schedule — 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days — whether or not the agent replies to us. Agents who haven’t responded are named on your broker escalation list, which arrives with the monthly report and again as a deadline gets close, so the conversation that needs to happen is yours to have while there is still time.

What we don’t do is renew the license or complete the CE for them. Each license holder does their own renewing; the desk makes sure the deadline is never a surprise.

Do you renew licenses or complete CE for our agents?

No — and that line is deliberate. We never log into a TREC account, never hold a credential, never pay a TREC fee, and never file anything in a license holder’s name. Each agent completes their own CE and their own renewal, the way TREC requires.

What the desk does is everything around that act: tracking the deadline, stating exactly what is owed, reminding on schedule, and escalating to you when an agent goes quiet.

How is this different from brokerage software?

Brokerage platforms are trackers — they show you the dates and leave the watching, chasing, and reporting to someone on your team. For a brokerage without a compliance manager, that someone is usually the broker, at whatever hour the spreadsheet gets opened.

RosterCurrent is the work itself, done for you: the reconciliation, the renewal calendar, the scheduled chasing, the escalation list, and the monthly report arrive by email. There is no dashboard to check because checking is the job you handed over.

How do I cancel a Desk plan?

Reply to any email from us and say you want to cancel. The plan runs to the end of the current month and then stops — no further charges, no cancellation call, no exit form.
